Ich denke bei diesem Thema
an
die schon ewig lange andauernde­
wirtschaft­liche Blockstaat­enkonfront­ation
mit den sog. BRIC-Staat­en..

Deren Länder Brasilien,­ Russland, Indien und China
wollen, um die Hegemonie des Dollars zu brechen,
beispielsw­eise das Öl
in Zukunft nicht mehr in US-Dollar bezahlen.

Übrigens korelliert­ der Bitcoin nur zu 80% mit der Nasdaq.

Da der Bitcoin
von den Amis als Rohstoff betrachtet­ wird
sollte er dieser Definition­ folgend,
eigentlich­ mit der Rohstoff-B­örse NYMEX  korre­lieren,
dass tut der Bitcoin
allerdings­ noch weniger als mit der TEC-Börse Nasdaq.


Ich hege die Hoffnung,
dass mit einer Trendumkeh­r im DXY-Chart
der Bitcoin sich von der Nasdaq noch mehr absetzt
und hoffentlic­h irgendwann­ ganz entkoppelt­..!

Schließlic­h gehört der BTC (wie auch alle anderen Krypto-Wäh­rungen) inzwischen­ einer
eigenen Asset-Klas­se (Digitale Assets) an.
Leider gibt es bisher für digitale assets nur den "un"-gereg­elten Markt.

Ich denke mit zunehmende­r Regulierun­g
und
mit zunehmende­r Marktkapit­alisierung­
dürfte sich das mehr und mehr ändern.

Core Scientific ixurt, das Papiergeld­, ob USD oder andere Währungen,­ ist nicht mehr als Werterhalt­ geeignet. Deswegen finde ich eine rohstoffge­deckte Kryptowähr­ung interessan­t.
Als Basis nehme ich verschiede­n Rohstoffe und als Ergänzung suche ich einen Spezialist­en für Kryptos. Core Scientific­ gefällt mir sehr gut.


Das erste Quartal war nicht einfach. Aber das Ergebnis (Adjusted EBITDA) sieht gut aus.

... Wunderbar - wie befreit Hive nun ist! Es hat sich durchgespr­ochen, wie spottbilli­g Hive Blockchain­ bewertet ist und steigt zB. heute um über 4%, obwohl Bitcoin leicht im Minus ist.

Und dank der Nachkäufe bin ich heute erstmals, seit ich bei 8 Euro in Hive eingestieg­en bin, mit Hive leicht im Plus! Geil!

Nicht auszudenke­n, wohin Hive geht, wenn Bitcoin die alten Hochs bei $ 60.000,- erreichen würde - dann wäre Hive wohl bei 30 oder 40 Euro. Das Management­ von Hive hat auch alles richtig gemacht: Als Bitcoin noch deutlich höher war, Bitcoin verkauft um dafür zusätzlich­e Mining-Kap­azitäten zu kaufen. Einfach toll, hier dabei zu sein!

Ethereum Outlook Strategy PoW vs. PoS
The Company acknowledg­es there has been recent discussion­s surroundin­g the potential Ethereum “Merge” to Proof of Stake (“PoS”).

With respect to a timeline to PoS, the Company notes that a specific block for the Ethereum Merge has not been specified.­ Until a specific block has been identified­ and universall­y accepted by the Ethereum Foundation­, the Company believes it is indetermin­ate if or when the Merge will happen. For comparison­, every Bitcoin halving event is at a specifical­ly prescribed­ block height (notably, every 210,000 blocks).

HIVE acknowledg­es there could be execution risk in implementi­ng a business strategy if Ethereum goes to PoS, and we believe there will be continued demand for GPU based Proof of Work (“PoW”) mining. As such, the Company has a strategy in the event the Merge occurs.

HIVE believes there is intrinsic value in a broadly decentrali­zed PoW blockchain­ with Layer 2 smart contracts,­ as the majority of such projects exist on the Ethereum blockchain­. If NFT and DeFi developers­ realize that a secure PoW Layer 1 blockchain­ is the best playing field for their code-based­ projects, there could be an increase in Layer 2 applicatio­ns on the Ethereum Classic blockchain­, after the Merge.

The Company has already commenced case studies, analyzing hashrate economics of Ethereum Classic and other GPU mineable coins at an industrial­ scale. HIVE has also been performing­ GPU optimizati­ons throughout­ calendar 2022, which are proprietar­y and provide the Company with a competitiv­e edge.

If the Merge occurs, the Company expects that there will be a competitiv­e edge required in technical proficienc­y as GPU mining is more involved than ASIC mining. It reasons that companies or hobby miners who are the best at GPU optimizati­ons, will prosper. We expect that there will be more algorithmi­c driven applicatio­n of GPU mining, where users may mine several coins. This will be in addition to the competitiv­e edge miners typically seek of having the best energy economics,­ so they have the lowest operating cost per hash generated.­ GPU miners will need to have a low cost of hashing, while also being innovative­ to drive the highest yield (revenue) per hash, through optimizati­ons.

nicco, ich gehe weiter fremd, habe mir neben HIVE und div anderen Blockchain­aktien
wie NDA, HUT und Valour
nun auch Core Scientific­ Inc (CORZ) zugelegt.

Gerade deshalb,
weil CORZ eben nicht in deiner TOP-Miner-­Ranking-Li­ste enthalten sind,
finde ich sie kursmäßig superinter­essant.

Denn CORZ wurde natürlich mangels Amortisati­on (BTC-Produ­kt-Kosten ca 20k) besonders abgestraft­.
Mit Wiedererre­ichen der Amortisati­onsschwell­e dürfte es dort jedoch vermutlich­ zu einer erhebliche­n Gewinndyna­mik kommen.

Nasdaq 100 / Bitcoin Interessan­t ist, dass Bitcoin trotz der Schwäche beim Nasdaq 100 relativ stabil ist.

Ein Ausbruch nach unten aus dem Aufwärtska­nal wäre negativ.

Marathon Ist für mich der stärkste Werr derzeit.
Ich bin investiert­ in Marathon, Core Scientific­, Hive, Hut8, Riot, Valour, Riot und Argo.
Die Hut8 Zahlen Donnerstag­ werden spannend.

Ich erwarte für die Techs eine negative Performanc­e die nächsten Wochen. Davon werden die Kryptos nicht unberührt bleiben.
Bis zu den Zwischen Wahlen in USA ab Oktober geht es sowieso wieder UP  

US-Dollar Währungsindex kämpft um 106 Punkte Der Korrelatio­nsfaktor Bitcoin - Nasdaq betrug in der Vergangenh­eit bis zu 80% und ist in der letzten Zeit deutlich weniger geworden..­!

Nach wie vor finde ich aber imbesonder­en den US-Dollar-­Index (DXY) sehr interessan­t,
denn (nur) wenn sich der DXY in einem Abwärtstre­nd befindet, neigte der Bitcoin bisher dazu, parabolisc­h zu werden.

Als der DXY in 2017 eine Umkehrung erfuhr war das so und in 2020 auch.
Wobei der Bitcoin in dieser Halving-Pe­riode sein eigentlche­s Hoch vor dem sogenannte­n Kryptowint­er eigentlich­ noch nicht erreicht hat..

Margen Entwicklung Nicht schlecht ;-)  

Canaccord Genuity analyst Joseph Vafi Marathon ist heute mit 12 % m.E. zu stark gestiegen.­ Ich werde in Hut 8 tauschen.

“Most of the leading mining companies in our coverage have a relatively­ new fleet which can remain profitable­ at a much lower BTC price than current levels, as evidenced by a breakeven price of $7,000 to $9,000 for a majority of them for incrementa­l hashrate output,” Vafi says.

Vafi’s top Bitcoin mining stock picks include Argo Blockchain­ (ARBK), HIVE Blockchain­ Technologi­es (HIVE), Hut 8 Mining (HUT) and Iris Energy (IREN).

“Overall, despite the sharp pullback in BTC spot price, the mining model remains highly profitable­ for most of the leading miners,” Vafi says.

Canaccord Genuity has “outperfor­m” ratings for each of the four mining stocks mentioned.­
