Jedoch Pedersen von der Sydbank meint, es sei möglich ,dass Vestas auch 2014 ein Ebit von 5% erreicht und somit sei Platz für weitere Steigerung des Aktienwertes.Er sei da sehr zuversichtlich für die kommenden Quartale

Vestas kommt nicht aus den roten Zahlen
Der dänische Windkraftanlagenhersteller Vestas steckt trotz Fortschritten im operativen Geschäft weiter in den roten Zahlen. Unter dem Strich stand im dritten Quartal wegen neuerlicher Abschreibungen ein Minus von 87 Millionen Euro, wie das Unternehmen in Randers mitteilte. Das war zwar nur noch rund die Hälfte des Fehlbetrags aus dem Vorjahreszeitraum, aber weit mehr als von Analysten erwartet.
Operativ schafften es die Dänen aber in die Gewinnzone. Das Ergebnis vor Zinsen und Steuern (EBIT) lag bei drei Millionen Euro nach einem Verlust von 140 Millionen vor einem Jahr, bereinigt um Sondereffekte lag das EBIT nun sogar bei 67 Millionen Euro. Der Umsatz sank um 27 Prozent auf 1,44 Milliarden Euro. Ein Lichtblick ist der Auftragseingang. Dieser vervierfachte sich fast auf 1,5 Milliarden Euro. Für das Gesamtjahr hoben die Dänen den EBIT-Ausblick vor Sonderposten an, die Umsatzprognose von 5,5 Milliarden Euro bestätigten sie.

...The old guard's replacements, some of whom are new to the wind business, certainly face a testing time. The past 12 months have not been easy for the industry, and there is precious little sign of improvement on the horizon. The pace of growth has slowed markedly in China and India; Australia has elected an anti-wind administration; Europe remains plagued by policy uncertainty and sovereign debt; and the US is edging closer to the cliff signposted by the expiry of the production tax credit. If 2013 was tough, the brutal reality is that 2014 is likely to be tougher.
Our Top 30 also suggests the industry will have to weather this storm without much in the way of political support.......global energy policy is being driven by finance ministries rather than energy and environment departments. Wind energy does have its champions, but they are struggling to make their voices heard above the strident clamour of the anti-wind lobbies.
On a more positive note, perhaps, is the entry of two influencers from Latin America, a region where the industry is looking for continued growth in the light of policies that favour wind power.....

MHI is investing EUR100 million in the project, with a further EUR 200 million dependent on the giant turbine hitting certain milestones. Vestas has made its order book for the upgraded V112-3.3MW offshore turbine and its existing offshore service contracts part of the venture.
How the joint venture affects the development and commercial future of MHI's own 7MW offshore turbine design, the SeaAngel, is not clear. Featuring an innovative hydraulic drivetrain, which enables the rotor to turn at variable speeds while the generator speed is fixed, and thus eliminating the cost, weight and complexity of a power electric converter, the SeaAngel is scheduled to start prototype testing in the next few months.....
