Produce and fish grown in the greenhouse will use BluePlanet’s patented Nano-Bubble Oxygen Infusion Technology. This is the same technology that is used in Pure Rain watering products for the garden and shower.
BluePlanet and ZT Partners are working with both mass and smaller food retailers, and distributors, to select the types of produce and fish to grow to meet the increasing consumer demand for locally grown, sustainable, and chemical-free food.
At the Saratoga Springs location, 80 acres have been set aside to erect greenhouses to meet consumer demands within a 100-200 mile radius.
The Saratoga Springs greenhouses will operate on a year round basis and serve as a working model for further greenhouse developments, as well as a new standard for greenhouse productivity.
The initial deliveries of produce and fish are scheduled for the Spring of 2012.

The technology licensing agreements Blue Planet has in place will accelerate the introduction of its retail product technology in a host of new products into the mass retail sector.
In the commercial sector of the company, Blue Planet will become a grower and supplier of fish and produce using its own hydroponic and oxygenation growing systems. Darauf hin ist der Aktienkurs von 0,06 Euro auf gut 0,44 Euro gesprungen.
Laut deren Webside steht demnächst eine weitere Zahlung über gut 40 Mio USD an.
Der Kurs könnte also schnell wieder auf über 1 Euro steigen.
Guter Zeitpunkt einzusteigen und abwarten.
