Save the City of Chicago

M-Fuel Could Save the City of Chicago $40M a Year Says EcoloCap CEO

Press Release Source: Capital Situation On Thursday May 26, 2011, 4:44 pm

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- In an interview with Capital Situation, Michael Siegel, CEO of EcoloCap Solutions of Chicago, (www.ecolocap.com), stated that numerous independent tests have proven the company’s M-Fuel technology to reduce consumption of diesel fuel up to 30% while reducing emissions by over 70%, without any modifications to diesel engines of buses and trucks.

Invented using nanotechnology, M-Fuel is an emulsion of diesel fuel, water and a proprietary additive, developed by EcoloCap’s Korean team over the last few years. The Company is presently marketing the technology worldwide, having orders and memorandum of understanding with, governments, transportation and utility companies in over ten countries.

Siegel stated: “Taking an example in our own backyard, the skyrocketing price of diesel fuel will cost Chicago and Chicago's transit agencies tens of millions of dollars more than anticipated this year, jeopardizing some proposed new services. With fuel costs rising and state funds scarce, the region's mass transit agencies face a budget season full of tough decisions that could create a bumpy ride for passengers. The City of Chicago, along with Pace, the CTA, and Metra spend an estimated $200M in diesel fuel each year. The use of EcoloCap’s M-Fuel would save a minimum of 20% or some $40M annually, and that’s using the most conservative of our projections.”

Siegel added: “Another factor is that under the 2003 Clean Air Act, emulsified diesel fuels with a minimum 12.5% water make users eligible for an additional $0.197 IRS Tax Credit. As a result, end users could save up to $1.00 a gallon on the cost of diesel fuel at today’s prices.”

“School busses are one of the most notorious emitters of pollution with a negative impact on health, but federal budget deficits have forced the demise of the “Clean Diesel School Buses Program” that was supposed to combat this problem. M-Fuel will not only reduce emissions to within acceptable limits, but reduce the cost of fuel, all without any capital expenditure on the part the school districts.”

At the Chicago Transit Authority, officials said preliminary figures indicate they would have to grapple with another budget shortfall next year. Talk of fare increases and possible service cuts could be back on the table, just months after a state bailout enabled them to avert imposing those measures this year.

news EcoloCap Announces Progress in Chile and the Ukraine
First of four emulsion fuel plants delivered to Chile as phase one of purchase agreement from Empresas Energy Partners Chile/Generadora de Energia LTDA (EPC), whose estimated fuel needs represent $84M in equipment and additive sales

EcoloCap Solutions Inc. (OTCBB:ECOS), announces that the first of four emulsion fuel plants has been delivered to Empresas Energy Partners/Generadora de Energia LTDA (EPC), a utility company in Chile whose estimated fuel needs represent $84M in equipment and additive sales. This is the first phase of the purchase agreement between EcoloCap Solutions Inc and Empresas Energy. (http://www.empresasepc.cl/todo%20ingles.html)

The NPU-10 produces 10 metric tons of M-Fuel per 24 hour period and can emulsify Diesel, Kerosene and other Heavy Fuel Oils. M-Fuel is an emulsion of 70% diesel, 30% water, and a proprietary additive. Independent tests have indicated a reduction of particulate emissions of over 90% and NOX by 65% while producing the same efficiency as the original unprocessed fuel. EPC expects to save a minimum of 20% on the costs of fuel by utilizing M-Fuel, which will represent tens of millions of savings each year once the program is fully implemented.

Robert M. Egger Jr. EcoloCap''s COO is in Chile to supervise the installation and testing of the equipment along with four Korean engineers and technicians from KMBT Korea, EcoloCap''s Korean subsidiary.

Mr. Egger states: "The is the culmination of years of research and development and the ultimate demonstration of our technology, as well as the first delivery in a program that should result in over $27M in sales of equipment and close to $54M a year in sales of additive. We feel the whole world is watching these developments, as we have prospective customers and distributors from four continents and over ten countries, major companies and governments, representing hundreds of millions in sales for EcoloCap."

In other ongoing negotiations, at the invitation of the Ukrainian Government, Michael Siegel, the CEO of EcoloCap, is visiting the Ukraine to meet with the Minister of Energy to discuss an agreement for the implementation of an M-Fuel strategy for the City of Kiev, then to extend to the rest of the country. This visit follows months of exchange of information, testing and negotiations.

M-fuel .. es kann losgehen EcoloCap's M-Fuel Exceeds Expectations in Chile
CHICAGO, ILLINOIS -- (Marketwire) -- 08/08/11 -- EcoloCap Solutions Inc. (OTCBB: ECOS)

Michael Siegel, CEO of EcoloCap Solutions Inc., today announced that the M-Fuel tests being conducted by Empresas Energy Partners of Chile on a 4,000 Hp diesel 1.8 Megawatt MTU GenSet without any modification, have produced better than expected results. The M-Fuel is being produced by an EcoloCap NPU-10, which yields 10 metric tons of M-Fuel per 24-hour period. http://www.empresasepc.cl/todo%20ingles.html

The nanotechnology-based M-Fuel, an emulsion of diesel fuel, water and a proprietary additive, was developed by EcoloCap's Korean team over the last few years. The Company is now marketing the technology worldwide, with orders and Memorandums of Understanding with governments, transportation and utility companies from over ten countries, all waiting for these tests.

Siegel stated: "M-Fuel burns cooler than standard diesel, so the engine does not overheat during heavy loads, as it does while running on pure diesel," commented Mr. Siegel. This added benefit effectively gives the operator increased generation capacity with a reduction in operating costs."

"With a mixture of 70% diesel, 28% water and 2% additive, the M-Fuel burn rate is almost identical to that of diesel, while running cooler, and emitting less than 2% particulate matter, 64% less NOx, and at least 20% reduction in CO2 per liter/Megawatt. Preliminary indications are that this results in a saving of approximately 30% in the production of electricity as compared with using 100% diesel," he added.

With similar diesel-powered engines running trains and ships, these test results will open numerous markets for EcoloCap. After compilation of all the data, results will be posted on the EcoloCap web site. Full release of the results is expected in a few weeks.

EcoloCap Updates on Chilean M-Fuel Testing / After months of study, EPC's testing confirms that M-Fuel will substantially reduce operating costs for the company
CHICAGO, ILLINOIS -- (Marketwire) -- 11/03/11 -- EcoloCap Solutions Inc. (OTCBB: ECOS)(http://www.EcoloCap.com). After several months of testing EcoloCap's M-Fuel emulsion by EPC of Chili, EcoloCap's management wants to update its stakeholders on the progress to date. M-Fuel has proven it is truly a viable fuel and EPC has demonstrated that it will substantially reduce operating costs for the company. Consequently, the parties are now currently engaged in negotiations on how best to take the next steps forward.

The first goal is to convert more of EPC's Degan, Chile, power plant over to M-Fuel, which will require an additional two or three NPU-60s. EPC has been testing the M-Fuel with an EcoloCap NPU-10, which has the capacity of producing 10 metric tons of M-Fuel per 24-hour period. The NPU-60s considered for the next step have a capacity of 60 metric tons of M-Fuel per 24-hour period. EcoloCap and EPC are currently working on a strategy to fulfill both these short term needs and a longer-term vision that will be of maximum benefit to both companies.

EcoloCap CEO Michael Siegel said "The fact that EPC desires to move forward with us after these tests is a tremendous milestone for EcoloCap. While we ourselves have long known of the amazing savings - in both costs and emissions - made possible by M-Fuel because of the evidence from internal and independent testing alike, client testing is always the most important form of proof. We consider the fact that EPC is still with us after having a full hands-on experience with M-Fuel the greatest validation we could have to show to the many other interested parties who have been watching on with great anticipation."

news EcoloCap Positive Results in Chile Lead to Agreement / A standstill agreement is in place pending a commitment that would cause FEI to absorb up to 100% of the production of M-Fuel production equipment and additive

BARRINGTON, ILLINOIS -- (Marketwire) -- 03/22/12 -- EcoloCap Solutions Inc. (OTCBB: ECOS). EcoloCap is in a standstill period with Fuel Emulsions International, Inc. (FEI) of Miami, FL until March 31, 2012. Under the proposed agreement, FEI is committed to purchase, own and operate all or most of EcoloCap's manufactured processing equipment and additive for the production of M-Fuel and other specialty emulsion fuels.

The proposed agreement has been in negotiation for the last three months and follows the successful testing of M-Fuel production by Energy Partners Chile (EPC), which shared its positive results with FEI.

EcoloCap's M-Fuel is the result of years of research and development. It has been an uphill battle for the market to recognize that the breakthrough technology can reduce diesel fuel consumption by up to 30% and particulate emissions up to 98%. In these times of $100/barrel oil, ECOS is fast gaining recognition and attracting the attention of leading users of heavy oils. The proposal ECOS has received is a testimonial to that recognition.

The EcoloCap NPU line of equipment uses Nano Technology to produce M-Fuel an emulsification of typically 70% Diesel, Kerosene or other Heavy Fuel Oils, 28% water and 2% of an EcoloCap proprietary additive. Independent tests have indicated a reduction of particulate emissions of some 98% and NOX by 65% while producing almost the same efficiency as the original unprocessed fuel. The result is a reduction of up to 30% in the consumption of diesel fuel and depending upon fuel prices, cost savings can reach 25%.

Michael Siegel, CEO of EcoloCap Solutions Inc. states: "First and foremost, I want to thank our shareholders who have stood by us over the past many months. Your faith in ECOS will not go unrewarded. We at EcoloCap did not stand still. We have been searching far and wide for the best partners to capitalize on our game changing technology. "
