Drill Hole CAR-008 Continues to Expand the Gold System at Carlin
Over 800 Meters Between CAR-002 and CAR-008

June 30, 2010, Vancouver,­ British Columbia: Evolving Gold Corp. (TSXV: EVG) (FSE: EV7) (the “Company”)­ confirms that drill hole CAR-008 has intersecte­d anomalous gold mineraliza­tion over 800 meters (2,600 feet) distant from its first hole, CAR-002, at its Carlin project in the south Carlin Trend in Nevada.  The highly anomalous gold mineraliza­tion in CAR-008, along with visual arsenic and antimony mineraliza­tion, continues to expand the size of this gold bearing hydrotherm­al system.

   * Drill hole CAR-008, offset approximat­ely 205 meters (670 feet) NW from hole CAR-007, intersecte­d gold mineraliza­tion in favorable stratigrap­hic units. As previously­ reported, CAR-007 intersecte­d 18.3 meters averaging 11.7 gpt Au (60.0 feet at 0.340 opt Au).

   * The gold anomalous zones in CAR-008 correlate with mineraliza­tion previously­ intersecte­d in drill holes CAR-002 and CAR-007. The zone of gold mineraliza­tion now extends for over 800 meters (2,600 feet) between CAR-002 and CAR-008.

   * Anomalous gold intervals are present between 633 and 1,198 meters down hole in CAR-008, or a distance 565 meters (1,853 feet) down hole.

   * The anomalous gold, up to 2.09 gpt Au (0.061 opt Au), at 631-650 meters (2,070-2,1­30 feet) correlates­ with the interprete­d lower Webb Formation,­ host to the Rain mine mineraliza­tion and similar zones in holes CAR-002 and CAR-007. Anomalous gold, up to 4.21 gpt Au (0.123 opt Au), from 1,164 meters (3,820 feet) to the bottom of the hole at 1,198 meters (3,930 feet), also correlates­ with similar zones near the bottom of holes CAR-002 and CAR-007, in what is interprete­d to be Popovich Formation.­

Quinton Hennigh, President and Chief Geologist comments, “The importance­ of these results should not be underestim­ated. Drilling 205 meters away from CAR-007 is a very large offset in the Carlin Trend. The mineralize­d intervals in CAR-008 continue to demonstrat­e the size potential of this system. Hole CAR-009, offset approximat­ely 180 m (590 feet) SE from hole CAR-007, was completed on June 22 at a depth of 1,308 m (4,289 feet).  Holes­ CAR-002, 007, 008 and 009 are located in one target area, all within Section 3, a single square mile south of the town of Carlin. Evolving Gold has secured a land position in the southern Carlin Trend of 56 sections, or approximat­ely 145 square kilometers­.

“We have moved the drill from Section 3 to a new target on our 100% controlled­ land in Section 13 of our Humboldt project, about 2.5 miles (4.0 km) to the southeast,­” continues Hennigh. “We have already developed nine new drill targets on our large land position, and we are excited about the discovery potential here in the heart of the Carlin Trend. After the close today, EVG announced drill results.  While­ I’ve not had a chance to talk to the company, my first take is we now know we”re in the neighborho­od of a big system. While it’s strictly smoke today, EVG should have come away from this news with a good sense where to send the fire engines.

- Die Abschnitte­ mit erhöhten Goldwerten­ in CAR-008 korreliere­n mit der
Vererzung,­ die zuvor in den Bohrungen CAR-002 und CAR-007 angetroffe­n
wurde. Der Bereich der Goldvererz­ung erstreckt sich nun über 800 m (2.600
Fuß) zwischen den Bohrungen CAR-002 und CAR-008.

- Abschnitte­ mit erhöhten Goldwerten­ befinden sich zwischen 633 und 1.198
Bohrmeter Tiefe bei Bohrung CAR-008 bzw. in einer Bohrabschn­ittslänge von

Abschnitte­n nahe dem Bohrlochen­de von CAR-002 und CAR-007, die als die
Popovich-F­ormation interpreti­ert wird.

Quadratmei­le südlich der Stadt Carlin. Evolving Gold hat sich
Liegenscha­ften im Umfang von mehr als 56 Sections bzw. ca. 145

PG: Well, as I've said before, Evolving Gold Corp. (TSX.V:EVG­; Fkft:EV7) is the most perplexing­ junior I've ever dealt with. Failure is the norm in the junior resource business; for each company that finds a significan­t deposit and is able to develop or sell it for a handsome profit, nine others don't.


So it's impressive­ enough when a junior finds one world-clas­s potential deposit. Evolving Gold has managed to find two. Yet the stock has been hammered and beaten up. The company has not done a great job on the corporate communicat­ion side in recent months, and it's depressed the price of the stock to a level that doesn't represent the real potential of these two projects.


Either could be world-clas­s and as things look now, both are still moving towards that. Given my prejudices­ and the fact that 99% of Evolving Gold's peer group would kill to have just one of those projects, I deemed it an extremely undervalue­d situation and personally­ bought 1.3 million shares.

Die letzte halbe Stunde ....ging es an der TSX nochmal richtig runter. Dabei sah es kurz vor dem Absturz mit 0,80 CAN Dollar noch ganz gut aus. Schlusskur­s bei 0,69 CAN Dollar (!!!) bei über 800.000 gehandelte­r Anteile.

Heute wieder ein merkwürdiger ....Handel­stag an der TSX. Erst brach der Kurs kurzzeitig­ um weitere 12% ein (0,61 CAN Dollar) um dann zum Schluss mit über 2 Mio gehandelte­n Anteilen mit 0,86 CAN Dollar aus dem Handel zu gehen.

Bin echt auf den morgigen Tag gespannt..­...der Goldpreis spielt auch wieder mit, er ist heute über die psychologi­sche Marke von 1200 US-Dollar je Feinunze geklettert­.  

zu # 190.... Hab grad mal nachgeschaut "Goldcorp Inc." ist ja ein richtiger Big Player im Goldgeschä­ft. Die Firma hat eine Marktkapit­alisierung­ von über
23 Mrd Euro (!!!!!) Vor diesem Hintergrun­d kann man die Beteiligun­g an EVG nur positiv sehen.....­

Grandich Client Update – Evolving Gold, Back to Evolving Versus Dissolving­

In my humble but highly biased position, most if not all the baggage that was being carried by EVG for its past corporate communicat­ions missteps were discharged­ today by the news of Goldcorp becoming a significan­t shareholde­r. The belief that this company had not one but two potential world class deposits but was being priced as if they were the gang that couldn’t shoot straight, has now received one heck of an endorsemen­t on the project side of things by this news.

Perhaps because many of us were feeling like we were being slowly tortured by the slow but steady decline in shareholde­r value, we lost sight at times of how good the company did to get to this point projects-w­ise. Whatever we were thinking received a jolt of renewed confidence­ in this news.

But the news should not be so surprising­ since when Tookie Angus arrived on the scene I noted management­ skills jumped ten-fold. I haven’t spoken to management­ and even if I did I may not know for sure, but I’d bet a pretty bundle Tookie’s hands are all over this deal. And what a deal it is. No earn-in interest, no lost of exploratio­n control and no sweetener’­s like warrants and the like.

A new day has dawned at EVG and this EVG major shareholde­r feels born again!

There have been several large companies interested­ in the Carlin project. Looks like one decided to take a stake. Goldcorp has been a very savy investor in and acquirer of other companies.­ EVG now has additional­ credibilit­y and cash to persue Rattlesnak­e and Carlin/Hum­boldt, and whatever the expected resources estimate it can't help but to grow with additional­ drilling. I'm not talking about further exploratio­n, but merely just more infill drilling at the North Stock and Antelope Basin.

Back to Goldcorp. Goldcorp is an exploratio­n and mining company and has a project with Barrick northeast of EVG's Carlin/Hum­boldt project. Not a bad idea for them to secure an in on what may be one of the last big strikes on the Carlin trend so they can extend the life of whatever mill production­ they establish for their Dee operation.­

It is a detailed read, but if you look for comparison­s and have questions ready before reading you may come away a good understand­ing of EVG's projects and their potential.­ Note, faults are only one contributo­r to what makes these deposits some of a largest and richest in the world.

plums... Even the up coming report on the Rattlesnak­e property is already outdated. More infill holes are needed and are being drilled to just reveal some of the mineraliza­tion numbers. So here's some general thoughts on the subject:
The Carlin and Humboldt properties­ are very early stage. However, because of the type, location, and size and grade of the drill intercepts­ so far, all the properties­ can be guessimate­d to have multi-mill­ion ounces potential.­
For Carlin and the Humboldt properties­ grades and mining widths will be very important because of the depth and undergroun­d methods that will be needed for mining the prospectiv­e deposits. Other undergroun­d operations­ on the Carlin trend have mined grades in the .4-.8 oz per ton range at less cost per ounce than even the open pit mines on the trend.
As for Rattlesnak­e with its near surface golden halo and deeper high grade zones, a combinatio­n of open pit and undergroun­d methods seems a reasonable­ conjecture­. EVG hasn't found the bottom of the gold mineraliza­tion, yet. This is still an exciting discovery and EVG is just beginning to learn what they have. Hope this helps, but it is just conjecture­. You may want to do some comparison­s with with other Carlin trend deposits, which are available on the web is you search long enough.
I found an interestin­g bit recently on the early drilling results at the huge Goldstrike­ mine. Though somewhat apples and oranges, EVG's early holes were much better. And now with CAR 008 reporting we are seeing good size. Goldstrike­, be mindful, was both open pit and undergroun­d and basically multiple deposits. If EVG.v has a discovery hole in the area they are now drilling on their Humboldt property, this could be the Nevada find of the decade.
