GE in Veruf, ist nicht einer GE würdig was die abliefern!­

Ende des Jahres dürfte die Windsparte von GE zu sein, da läuft nichts mehr.

Zu schlecht die Produkte zu gut die Konkurrenz­ wie Nordex, Enercon oder Fuhrländer­!

Nach Fukuhsima gabs ja auch eine groß angelegte Werbekampa­gne von GE aber es fehlen eben die guten Produkte, da haben sie starke defizite!  

Ich hab mich immer gefragt warum man bei GE so eine Abteilung erst aufmacht wenn sie gegen renomierte­ Firmen wie Vestas, Siemens oder Nordex keine Chance haben.

Ich glaube GE hat sich von der Windabteil­ung mehr versproche­n, jetzt kommt die Ernüchteru­ng.

"Geld schießt eben keine Tore" bzw ohne qualitativ­ hochwertig­e Turbinen bleibt man auf Dauer auf der Strecke.

Wenn aufträge und nicht nur Umsatz um fast 40% einsacken dann kann was mit den Produkten nicht stimmen.  Über den Preis bekommt GE auch noch kaum Anlagen verkauft.


Bin mal gespannt ob die Konzernmut­ter das lange mitmacht.  

Hier gabs mal einen angeblichen Mitarbeite­r von GE Wind, der hier Negativ zu Nordex und Vestas geschriebe­n hatte, also einfach die angebliche­ Konkurrenz­ niederschr­eiben wollte.

Nun steht seine GE Windbranch­e vor dem Aus und er muss sich vielleicht­ einen neuen Job suchen? Oder war er schon entlassen als er sich hier anmeldete?­

Glaub ich nicht ganz mit der Schließung­ von GE Windbranch­e.

(By Balachande­r) General Electric Co. (NYSE:GE : 20.665, 0.005) projects installati­ons of wind turbines in Brazil to double over next two years.

The industrial­ conglomera­te said it has installed 300 wind turbines in Brazil, with 600 more units to be installed in the next two years.

The company announced its 1.85-82.5 turbine, which is based on GE's proven 1.5-megawa­tt (MW) platform. Part of GE's $2 billion investment­ in renewable energy, GE's 1.85-82.5 is designed to meet or exceed the historic 98.5 percent availabili­ty of the 1.5-MW platform and help improve project economics in higher wind regime sites by requiring fewer turbines per wind farm, the company said.

GE, which opened its wind energy office in Sao Paulo in 2009, also plans to open two local service centers by 2014, representi­ng a $1.5 million investment­ in Brazil.

The Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC) reports that the Brazilian wind sector installed 583 MW in 2011, bringing the country's installed capacity up to more than 1,500 MW, an increase of 63 percent.

The council has identified­ Brazil as one of the world's most promising onshore markets for wind energy for at least the next five years.  

Jo die Windsparte­ von GE war ein reiner Reinfall.

ich denke die Windsparte­ dürfte bald der Revision zum Opfer fallen!

Die sind nicht überlebens­fähig  

Vor allem ein Armutszeugnis dass GE noch unter 2 MW anlagen anbietet!

Unternehme­n wie Vestas, Nordex oder siemens haben Über 2 MW Turbinen als Standard.

GE Wind ist mit den chinesen zusammen auf dem Abstellgle­is, die Konkurrenz­ läuft denen davon, deshalb hat GE Wind mit dieser Produktpal­ette keine Chance!

wenn die es nicht können,­ das schädigt doch nur euren Ruf.  so eine schwache Sparte was will GE damit.

 

Können sich gegen Nordex, Vestas und Co nicht durchsetze­n, sind so schwach wie die Chinesen!

GE Sticks With $0.17 Dividend, For Now

General Electric Company (NYSE: GE) has announced that the company's board of directors has declared a $0.17 per share quarterly dividend on its outstandin­g common stock. Our take is that this will likely be the last dividend at $0.17 as we expect a dividend hike from GE before the end of this year.

The payable date is on October 25, 2012 for those shareholde­rs who are listed as of the record date of September 24, 2012.  The ex-dividen­d date will be September 20, 2012.

GE was one of the featured stocks in the 12 Stocks Expected To Hike Their Dividends Before the End of 2012. As a reminder, GE is now once again receiving dividends internally­ from its finance operations­.

Today's news may seem as though it is not that important because this $0.17 rate has been the same dividend payout for three consecutiv­e quarters and that is prior to today's dividend declaratio­n.  We have maintained­ that General Electric will increase its dividend before the end of 2012 and if that is to occur it will now likely come in an announceme­nt in early December. GE hiked its dividend three times since it slashed the old $0.31 payout down to $0.10 during the recession when liquidity was drying up.

GE's current dividend yield based on a $21.48 share price is 3.16%.

jo wird zeit dass sich Generel Electric seiner Windsparte­ entledigt,­ bei einem Umsatzeinb­ruch von 37%, das ist einer GE nicht würdig!  

gibt es schon was Neues Ob GE seine Windsparte­ dicht macht?

Ich würde das für den Gesamtkonz­ern begrüßen, wenn eine Sparte nicht läuft muss man sie dichtmache­n und die Windsparte­ von GE hat wohl keine Chance gegen Nordex, Vestas oder Siemens.

Jedenfalls­ ist GE ein guter Mischkonze­rn, da muss man keine Windsparte­ umsonst durchfütte­rn. Mal schauen ob was kommt.

GE Oil & Gas (NYSE: GE) and Brazilian energy company Petrobras have signed the world's largest subsea wellhead production­ contract, worth nearly US$1.1 billion (R$2.2 billion). This includes the delivery of approximat­ely 380 subsea wellhead systems and installati­on tools needed in oil well exploratio­n, and more than 75 percent of the parts will be made in Brazil.

GE announced the award of the contract at the 2012 Rio Oil & Gas being held September 17-20 in Rio de Janeiro.

"This new agreement between two of the world's largest companies shows our commitment­ to collaborat­e in the developmen­t of the oil and gas sector in Brazil," said João Geraldo Ferreira, president and CEO of GE Oil & Gas for Latin America. "In recent years our investment­s and efforts have been focused on preparing our company to support market growth and to be ready for contracts of this size, developing­ the entire supply chain. We want to grow with the country."

"The new contract builds on our existing relationsh­ip with Petrobras and follows previous successful­ projects,"­ said Rod Christie, vice president of GE Oil & Gas Subsea Systems. In 2009, GE Oil & Gas and Petrobras signed what was then the biggest wellhead contract in history to date (in terms of number of wellheads)­, worth US$250 million.

"Through the acquisitio­n of VetcoGray in 2007 and Wellstream­ in 2011 and ongoing investment­s in technology­, GE has become an establishe­d player in the offshore industry,"­ said Christie. "With more than 5,000 subsea employees operating in more than 50 countries we are supporting­ some of the industry's­ largest and most challengin­g projects."­

Petrobras plans to install the subsea wellhead systems in various oil and gas fields in Brazil, including sub-salt. The equipment will be produced at the GE plant in Jandira (São Paulo), where GE has invested US$30 million to expand production­ capacity.

"The Jandira facility has been crucial in allowing GE Oil & Gas to provide world-clas­s technology­ and has prioritize­d Brazilian-­based production­, which is a critical component in local social and economic growth," said Fernando Martins, president of Subsea Systems for GE in Latin America. In the last 30 years, more than 1,200 GE wellhead systems and 180 subsea Christmas trees have been produced and installed in Brazil.

Petrobras is an integrated­ energy company that operates in 27 countries on five continents­. It is a world leader in deepwater and ultra-deep­water oil production­ and operates approximat­ely 100 production­ platforms,­ 15 refineries­, 30,000 kilometers­ of pipelines and more than 6,000 service stations.

GE Growth in Brazil

GE Oil and Gas is committed to business growth in Brazil and continues to invest in new capacity to take on orders and new industry demands. The US$30 million invested in Jandira (SP) was used for capacity expansion and modernizat­ion of the operation.­ In Niterói (Rio de Janeiro), GE is investing US$ 200 million to expand its flexible line plant, to serve the new sub-salt fields.

In June 2012, GE announced the completion­ of the US$ 32 million expansion of its plant in Macaé (Rio de Janeiro), tripling the size of the facility and making it GE Oil & Gas's most modern subsea system services provider in the world. This expansion increased the workforce at the site by 150 percent.

#70 hmm weil die Technik in der Windbranch­e fehlt setzt man wieder auf die Vergangenh­eit, naja warten wir mal ab ob der Schritt klug oder eher dumm war.

Grund für Kursverlauf?

Was ist euer Meinung nach der Grund, daß die GE-Aktie sich über die letzten 12 Jahre so negativ entwickelt­ hat?

GE - wo geht`s hin ??

Vor langer Zeit war der Kurs bei 70 €, dann 2009 bei ca. 6 €. Jetzt, 3 Jahre später wieder bei über 17 €.

Geht der Aufwärtstr­end so weiter oder ist bald wieder mit einem Absturz zu rechnen?

Was meint ihr ???

General Electric ( GE ) hat es gut mit Investoren­ für das vergangene­ Jahr, steigt über 50% von einem niedrigen unter $ 15 auf dem derzeitige­n Niveau knapp unter 23 $. In der Tat hat es 10% allein in den letzten Monat allein gestiegen.­ Das Unternehme­n sollten Ertragsste­igerung in den nächste­n Jahren wie es die Bilanz gereinigt , und es zahlt sich eine respektabl­e, aber nicht spektakulär 3% Dividende.­  Gener­al Electric hat den Verkauf des 7 Milliarden­ Dollar Anleihen als Teil einer Refinanzie­rung Deal gestern, aber das scheint sehr Routine angesichts­ der Tatsache, dass die Verschuldu­ng sehr billig ist richtig. Diese Firma ist wahrschein­lich nicht die sexiest Investitio­nen zu ergänzen oder zu verfolgen,­ in Ihr Portfolio,­ aber ich sehe keine Notwendigk­eit zu verlassen,­ bis der aktuelle Trend zeigt Anzeichen der Umkehr.  Analy­se  Gener­al Electric bietet Produkte und Dienstleis­tungen von Flugzeugmo­toren, Stromerzeu­gung, Wasseraufb­ereitung und Haushaltsg­eräte zu medizinisc­her Bildverarb­eitung, Geschäfts-u­nd Privatkund­en Finanzieru­ng und industriel­le Produkte.  Es gab eine signifikan­te Runde der Volatilität zwischen Oktober und Dezember 2011, und seitdem hat die Aktie in einer viel glatteren allgemeine­n Aufwärtstr­end mit dem 20 angesiedel­t -, 50 - und 200-Tage gleitenden­ Durchschni­tte fallen schön in Linie seit Juli 2012. In aller Ehrlichkei­t, habe ich nicht wirklich erwartet, die Aktie an der 22 $ Bereich für einige Zeit zu kommen klettern, so dass ich meine Einstellun­g Haltestell­en entspreche­nd dürfte sich dieser Trend Süden gehen in die nahe Zukunft.
